Mammoet was contracted by Dubai-based project logistics company Fleet Line Shipping Services LLC (FLS) for the transportation of four skids from Port of Duqm to the job site in #Oman. The skids, each weighing 99t and measuring 22.4m x 5.3m x 7.8m, were transported over a 500 km distance.
Scope of work included receiving the cargo under hook from FLS’s chartered vessel and placing them on beams in port laydown area to obtain government and police permissions with an escort, including permissions for route modifications and removal/replacement of street signboards. All have been done on a timely basis to meet the client’s tight delivery deadlines. Another job well executed by FLS and Mammoet team!
