FLS is synonymous with providing cost-effective freight solutions for Project Cargo. The latest example of shipping 3 heavy Gensets each measuring 12.26 x 3.4 x 4.2 meters, 38 tons from Jebel Ali to Barbera, Somaliland with pre-lashing done in FLS owned 3×40’ HD Flat Bed containers.

Prior to loading the gensets onto flatbed containers, FLS took the approvals from JEA and BBO terminals by providing Method of Statements for lifting operations as the normal lifting points were not available to lift. Instead, it was lifted with the help of shackles and wires through the bottom lifting points of containers which got connected to the gantry spreader to have a straight pull to keep the pressure away from the body of the gensets.

Fleet Line Shipping Services LLC – Says: “Thanks to the excellent team of DP World in both JEA and BBO terminals for their proactive approach in tackling such complex cargo whereby helping the trade to reach the freight to its destinations in shorter transit time.
